Paver Driveways Built to Carry the Load
Swap a cracked slab for a paver drive that looks sharp, handles daily traffic and can be repaired one section at a time.
- Old concrete torn out and hauled off
- Compacted base and locked edges
- Widening and extra parking pads

Built for weight
A driveway has to carry cars every day, not just look good
A patio holds furniture. A driveway holds a loaded truck turning its wheels in the same spot twice a day. That's why driveway work starts with digging out to firm ground and building a compacted base that matches the traffic, then locking the edges so the pavers can't drift into the grass.
Pavers also have a practical upside over a poured slab: if a section ever settles or a utility line needs work, those pavers can be lifted and reset instead of jackhammered and patched.
Driveway projects
What homeowners ask us to build
Full paver driveway
Tear out the old concrete or asphalt and replace it with a new paver drive, curb to garage.
Widening
Add a strip on one or both sides so two cars fit side by side and nobody steps in the grass.
Extra parking pad
A paver pad beside the drive for a third car, a work truck or a trailer.
Borders & bands
Add a contrasting border or band to dress up an existing drive and tie in the walkway.
Apron & entry upgrades
Replace a cracked apron or the first section of the drive where the damage shows most.
Re-level & repair
Fix tire ruts, sunken spots and loose edges on a paver drive you already have.

Things worth thinking about
- Color and pattern. Herringbone and other interlocking patterns hold up best under turning tires. Lighter colors stay cooler; darker colors hide tire marks.
- Width. If you're replacing the whole drive anyway, it's the cheapest time to widen it.
- HOA rules. Many Polk County subdivisions want to approve color and pattern first. We can give you the product details your HOA asks for.
- Drainage. We look at where water runs now so the new drive sheds it away from the garage.

FAQ
Common questions
Will the pavers hold up to my truck?
Yes, when the base is built for it. Tell us what you park (cars, a work truck, a trailer or an RV) and we'll plan the base and paver to match.
Do you remove my old concrete driveway?
Yes. Demo and haul-off of the old drive can be included in your estimate, so it's one job and one price.
Can I park on it right away?
We'll give you a clear go-ahead at the final walkthrough. Most of the time it's soon after we finish, but we'll tell you exactly for your job.
Can you match my neighbor's driveway or my HOA's color list?
Usually, yes. Bring a photo or the HOA's approved list to the estimate and we'll find the closest match.
