After cleaning

Why seal
Florida sun and rain are hard on pavers
UV fades color, mildew and algae darken shady spots, and heavy summer rain washes sand out of the joints. Once the joints empty out, weeds and ants move in and the pavers start to shift.
Cleaning and sealing helps with all of it. The color comes back, the joints get refilled and stabilized, and the surface is easier to keep clean.
The process
What a cleaning and sealing job includes
1. Wash
Surface cleaning to lift dirt, mildew and staining from the pavers and joints.
2. Spot-treat
Extra attention on rust, oil and other stubborn stains where they can be improved.
3. Re-sand
Fresh joint sand swept in and settled so the pavers lock together.
4. Seal
Sealer applied evenly once the surface is dry, in the finish you picked.
5. Cure
We tell you how long to keep foot traffic and cars off before we leave.
Optional: fix first
Sunken spots repaired before sealing so you're not sealing a problem in.

Choose a finish
Natural look or wet look
- Natural / matte. Protects and refreshes color without adding shine. A good fit for pool decks and walkways.
- Enhanced / wet look. Deepens color and adds sheen. Popular on driveways and front entries.
- Not sure? We'll talk through the options at the estimate based on where the pavers are and how they're used.

FAQ
Common questions
How often should pavers be sealed?
It depends on the sealer, sun exposure and traffic. We'll give you an honest recommendation for your surface instead of a one-size-fits-all schedule.
Will sealing make my pool deck slippery?
Finish choice matters around pools. We'll recommend a finish suited to wet, barefoot areas.
Can you seal pavers that are already sunken in spots?
We recommend fixing those spots first. Sealing locks the joint sand in place, so it's best done on a flat, sound surface.
Do you clean pavers without sealing?
Yes, cleaning and re-sanding can be quoted on their own. Ask about it when you request your estimate.
