Repair & reset
Sound familiar?
Signs your pavers need attention
Most of these get worse with every rainy season. The sooner the base is fixed, the less of the surface has to come up.
- A dip or puddle that wasn't there before
- Pavers rocking or clicking underfoot
- Raised edges that catch a toe
- Tree roots pushing a section up
- Borders pulling away into the grass
- Joint sand washed out, weeds coming through
- Tire ruts in a paver driveway
- Cracked or broken pavers
- Settling next to a pool, downspout or AC pad

How we fix it
We fix the cause, not just the top layer
Tapping a sunken paver back down with a mallet lasts until the next storm. A real re-level means pulling up the affected pavers, finding out why the base moved, and rebuilding it before anything goes back down.
- Lift the pavers in the problem area and set them aside to reuse
- Find the cause: washout, a low spot, roots, a leaking downspout or a missing edge
- Rebuild and compact the base, then screed fresh bedding sand
- Reset the original pavers in their pattern and replace any broken ones
- Re-sand the joints and compact so the area locks back in

What we repair
Sunken areas
Low spots on driveways, patios and pool decks lifted and rebuilt.
Root heave
Sections pushed up by tree roots reset, with the layout adjusted where it makes sense.
Loose borders
Borders and edges re-set and restrained so the field stops spreading.
Broken pavers
Cracked or stained pavers swapped out with a matching or close-match paver.
Utility cuts
Areas dug up for plumbing or irrigation put back flat.
Washed-out joints
Joints cleaned out and refilled so the pavers lock together again.

FAQ
Common questions
Can you reuse my existing pavers?
Usually, yes. We lift them carefully and reset them in the same pattern. Broken pieces get replaced with the closest match we can find.
Will the repaired area match the rest?
Reset original pavers match exactly. If new pavers are needed, older pavers may have faded, so a light color difference is possible. Cleaning and sealing the whole area afterward helps blend it.
Is it worth repairing, or should I replace?
If most of the surface is solid, repair is almost always the better value. If the whole area has failed, we'll show you why and give you both options.
Do you do small repair jobs?
Yes. A single sunken corner or a loose border is a normal job for us. Send photos with your request so we know what to bring.
