Estimates & pricing
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. We come out, look at the area, measure and give you a written estimate at no cost and with no obligation.
How does the process work?
Call or send the form and we get back to you the same day, 24 hours at most. We visit on your schedule to look and measure, and you get a written estimate within 48 hours of the visit. Once you approve it and pay the deposit, we schedule the job and walk it with you when it's done.
How do deposits and payments work?
A deposit of 25-50% is due when you approve the estimate, depending on the products in your job. The balance is due on completion.
Why don't you list prices on the website?
Paver prices swing a lot with square footage, the paver you choose, tear-out, base prep and site access. A posted number would either scare you off or be wrong. A written estimate for your actual job is more useful.
What should I have ready for the estimate?
A rough idea of the project, any HOA rules, and photos if you're sending the form. We'll handle the measuring.
Installation
What goes under the pavers?
We excavate, build and compact a base suited to how the area will be used, set a bedding layer, lay the pavers, install edge restraint, then fill and compact the joints. The base is what keeps pavers flat.
Can pavers go over existing concrete?
Sometimes, if the slab is sound and the added height works at doors, garage edges and the pool. Otherwise we remove the slab first. We'll tell you which applies after we see it.
Do you pull permits or handle HOA approval?
No. Permits and HOA approvals are the homeowner's responsibility, so check with your city or county and your HOA before work starts. We can give you the paver product, color and pattern details your application asks for.
How soon can you start?
Many jobs can start within days of approval. Specialty materials can push the start out 6-8 weeks while they come in. Your estimate includes a start date.
How long will my project take?
It depends on the size and what needs to come out first. We'll give you an expected schedule with your estimate.
Do you use subcontractors?
No, we do the paver work ourselves. The one thing we sub out is screen enclosures.
Repair & sealing
Why are my pavers sinking?
Usually the base underneath: washout from rain or a downspout, a base that was too thin, missing edge restraint, or tree roots. Re-leveling means fixing that cause, not just tapping pavers down.
Do you repair pavers you didn't install?
Yes. We fix pavers no matter who put them in.
Should I seal my pavers?
Sealing helps with fading, staining and joint-sand washout, which are common problems in Florida. We'll give you an honest recommendation based on your surface.
Can you match my existing pavers?
Reused pavers match exactly. For new pieces we find the closest available match. Some fading difference on older pavers is normal.
Company
Are you insured?
Yes, fully insured. Ask and we'll send proof of insurance before the job.
What's your warranty?
A 1-year labor warranty, in writing, is standard on every installation unless you request a different term.
How fast do you respond, and when are you open?
We respond the same day, 24 hours at most. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm.
