Backyard patios
More usable yard, less mud and mowing
A good patio fixes the patch of grass that never grows, the muddy spot by the back door, and the "where do we put the grill" problem all at once. We help you size it for how you'll use it: a table and chairs, a lounge area, a fire pit, or all three.
Pavers handle Florida heat and summer downpours better than a poured slab because the joints let the surface flex instead of crack. We grade the patio so water runs away from the house, not toward it.

Fire pit area
A round seating pad with a paver fire pit as the centerpiece.
Patio extensions
Grow a small concrete patio or screened lanai out into the yard with pavers.
Around trees
Pavers can be laid around a mature tree with room left for the trunk and roots.

FAQ
Common questions
How big should my patio be?
Start with what goes on it. A table for four plus room to walk around it needs more space than most people guess. At the estimate we'll lay it out with you so you can picture it before anything is dug.
Can you extend my existing concrete patio?
Yes. We can add pavers alongside a slab, or cover a sound slab when the heights work out at the door. We'll check it in person.
Will it get too hot to walk on?
Lighter colors and textured finishes stay noticeably cooler in the sun. We'll bring samples so you can compare.
Do you build fire pits?
Yes, paver fire pits are a common add-on to a patio. Tell us when you request the estimate.
